Servomuto
Conceptualised and produced by graphic designer Alessandro Poli and architect Francesca De Giorgi. The duo have been designing lampshades since 2007; utilizing vintage fabrics, army blankets and antique velvet theatre curtains to create contemporary forms using traditional methods .
Certain collections include artistic commissions by those whom they collaborate with. ‘My Grandma was a punk’ was a collaboration between Servomuto, FUCKS$MILE (illustrations) and Gienchi (studs). The ‘Lucky Garden’ Series displayed the ironic photograph of Miguel Figueroa.
